    A successful caregiver will ensure:

  • Level of services being provided is excellent according to client, family, and Assisting Hands staff
  • Policies and procedures are being followed by the caregiver
  • Schedule is adhered to and caregiver is on time
  • Follow client's individual plan of care
  • Caregiver appearance is appropriate
  • The client is well groomed and personal care is provided appropriately 
  • There are no safety concerns
  • Proper lifting is used to ensure caregiver and client safety
  • Caregiver is communicating with family, client, and Assisting Hands staff frequently and appropriately 
  • Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive and have a reliable vehicle
  • Minimum 1-year in HOME CARE or NURSING HOME experience
  • High school diploma/ GED required
  • Must be willing to obtain CPR certification and pass TB test
  • Complete Assisting Hands provided training's
  • Hours:  Varied. Part time, full time, days, nights, weekends, and live in positions all available.
